What is RAG?

RAG (which stands for Raising and Giving) is the Students’ Union’s fundraising programme. It gives you the chance to get involved in fun and enjoyable activities that raise vital funds for charities worldwide.

Why should I take part in RAG?

Taking part in RAG Activities is a great way for you to make memories with friends whilst making a difference to charities across the world.

Get involved in RAG activities and challenges

We run RAG Activities throughout the year including our annual challenges. They’re a chance to raise money for charity whilst taking part in a once-in-a-lifetime experience. In 2021/22, we are offering the Hadrian's Wall Team Challenge for WWF! This 5-day challenge will see you racing across the country as a team against students from other universities.
