RAG: Raising and giving

This academic year, NTSU RAG is running three amazing challenges to help you raise money for incredible causes.

Check out the challenges on offer below.

Kilimanjaro for Dig Deep

We're on the lookout for some inspiring, adventurous and committed individuals to take on our 2021 Kilimanjaro challenge. Could that be you or do you know someone who would be up for it?

You’ll be supporting Dig Deep, a charity which works to help schools and communities get access to water and sanitation in Kenyan communities. They work together to build taps and toilets; to ensure that water and sanitation services are maintained for the long term; and to provide vital hygiene training to the next generation.

Summer 2020 has challenged you, Summer 2021 will change you. Kilimanjaro is the HIGHEST FREE-STANDING MOUNTAIN in the world and YOU could be standing at its summit next year!

Find out more by attending our virtual Information Evening on Thursday 19th November from 6-7pm. You can find the event link below.

Machu Picchu

Join a team to complete the 6-day Salkantay Trek across the high Peruvian Andes in search of Machu Picchu, the Lost City of the Inca.

The trek route departs from the bustling mountain town of Cusco and winds its way through breath-taking mountain passes, sacred mountains and humid jungle trails, finally reaching the fabled ruins of Machu Picchu. Extend your stay by exploring the Amazon rainforest in an incredible jungle lodge escape.

You'll be supporting Meningitis Research Foundation, a charity who help save lives across the UK and around the world, by funding research, vaccines and raising awareness of the dangers of meningitis and septicaemia.
