Black Futures is a continuation of the work that goes into celebrating and reflecting on Black culture during Black History Month. We recognise that the Black experience is not limited to one month each year, and have made a commitment to work year-round to better represent our Black students and staff. It is a year-round program of events, campaigns, and resources to help create a more equal future for everyone.
We love Nottingham and we love supporting local independent businesses. Black business owners are often under-represented, and we want to help spread the word about the great ones we have here in Nottingham, which is why we’ve created a marketplace of local independent black-owned businesses.
NTSU recognises that it needs to do more to better support its Black students, staff and local community.
NTSU commits to:
Is there something you would like to see regarding the Black student experience? Is there something we can do better? We want to hear from you. Let us know your thoughts by sending us your Big Idea.
