Got some free time and want to help make a difference to your local community? Volunteer with the Students’ Union.

Why should I volunteer?

Not only will you be helping to make a difference to the lives of other people, you’ll also gain valuable skills and experience that’ll boost your CV and make you more employable.

How can I get involved?

We have a number of volunteering opportunities at the Students’ Union.

RAG Challenge Leader - We are currently looking for leaders to run our RAG Challenges, a role which provides you with leadership experience, new skills and the opportunity for the adventure of a lifetime! For more information, head to our Challenges page.

RAG Committee Member - RAG Committee members help to improve the Students’ Union’s raising and giving programme as well organising and promoting exciting fundraising activities for our partner charities. Get in touch with our Opportunities Team to find out more.

Mental Health Champion - Our Mental Health Champions help deliver and promote mental health support to students at Nottingham Trent University. They work alongside our VP Community and Welfare and our Information and Advice Service to ensure students have access to the support they need. Find out more here.

These projects allow you to create volunteering projects of your very own. Sound like a lot of responsibility? Don’t worry, we’ll give you the funding you need to get started and support you every step of the way.

You can also get involved in projects that are being run by other students.
