For apprenticeship students, during the final months of the year, there is no service from the NTU cafe in the Belgrave building, meaning that students must travel elsewhere for water, coffee, snacks etc. A vending machine offering simple refreshments could aid with student performance and productivity during the final months of the year when such refreshments are unavailable. It could also reduce queues at the usual cafe during the busier months and allow for better use of learning time when students are utilising the study facilities at later hours.
