We are looking for enthusiastic Coffee Shop Assistants to help run the Clifton Students’ Union Coffee Shop.
Open every day of the week with shifts between 7:30am into afternoon, serving hot and iced drinks, as well as pastries/sandwiches while upkeeping a friendly, clean and tidy environment.
Previous barista/coffee shop work experience is beneficial, but not essential.
Deadline to apply is 28 October 2026 with interviews expected to be taking place (in-person on our Clifton campus) the following week.

We are looking for enthusiastic Diner Assistants to help run the Clifton Students’ Union Diner Kitchen. Open every day of the week with shifts between 8:30am until late in the evening, preparing food and assisting in the open and close down of the kitchen while upkeeping a friendly, clean and tidy environment.
Previous catering/kitchen work experience is beneficial, but not essential.

Are you friendly, reliable and passionate about delivering excellent customer service? Join our Retail Team and help create a welcoming shopping experience for students, staff and visitors across our Union Shop outlets.
As a Retail Assistant, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of our store, including serving customers, operating tills, replenishing stock, merchandising displays, receiving deliveries and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety and presentation. You may also assist with basic food preparation, including simple cooking tasks such as preparing food from frozen, while ensuring all food hygiene and safety standards are maintained.
We're looking for enthusiastic team players with great interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Previous retail, cash handling or EPOS till experience is desirable but not essential.
Applicants must be a current Nottingham Trent University student for the 2026/27 academic year and be aged 18 or over.
This role is primarily based at the NTSU SPAR Shop, although there may be occasions where you will be required to work at our City and Brackenhurst campus outlets to support operational requirements.
This is a position of trust. Successful applicants must be dependable, honest and capable of working independently, including at times when no permanent member of staff is on site. You will be trusted to follow procedures, handle cash and stock responsibly, make sound decisions and always represent NTSU professionally. This is a zero-hours position with flexible shifts available during term time to meet the needs of the business.
