Student jobs

Thanks for your interest in working for NTSU. Finding a workplace that allows you to juggle a job alongside your studies can be tough. But we make it easy.

As your Student’s Union, our aim to support you goes beyond the services we offer. It’s also a key value in how we approach student staff jobs.

That is why working for us means flexible hours to accommodate your studies, the convenience of working on campus, opportunities for training and development, and the chance to meet like-minded students in your team.

Our student vacancies are listed below. If you're interested in applying for a role, please read our recruitment pack to learn more about working for us.

We also welcome applications from members of the LGBTQ+ community and encourage inclusivity in the workplace.

Please Note: Our student staff vacancies are only open to current NTU students. NTSU student staff members are unable to work as Freshers' Team alongside their current role.

NTSU is looking for new Welcome Assistants to be the first point of contact for all visitors at the Students’ Union. In this role, successful candidates will be assisting with events and external client bookings, ensuring an excellent standard of experience within our venues, answering telephone calls, directing visitors, help run GIAG events, and more!

This is a role that would suit someone with experience of delivering excellent customer service. If you’ve got problem-solving skills, have great communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative, we would love to hear from you.
