Ka'Vour: Bring Back My Curls

When: Monday 13 October 2025, 17:00 – 19:30

Where: Nottingham Trent Students' Union Building (City campus)

NTSU and Ka’Vour invite you to a free hair workshop — an inspiring celebration of the legacy, beauty and resilience of Black hair. We'll explore the cultural history of Black hair, discuss discrimination and identity, and share expert tips on caring for natural curls, coils and kinks. Expect storytelling, empowerment and practical tips — plus a free gift bag for attendees.

NTSU BHM Film & Food Night

When: Wednesday 15 October 2025, 16:00 – 18:30

Where: NTU Global Lounge (City campus)

NTSU & NTU Global Lounge invite you to an evening of film and food celebrating Black History Month. We'll be screening Hidden Figures, chosen by you, and serving a delicious meal from a local Black-owned business. This free event is open to everyone — come to learn, connect, support local entrepreneurs and enjoy great company.
