NTSU Sustainability, NTSU and UPP have teamed up to run a ‘Big Clear Out’ scheme for students leaving halls this year.
If you live in UPP halls, you can donate your unwanted things to the British Heart Foundation bins found in reception areas. If you’re donating clothes and bedding, drop them off at external British Heart Foundation bins across campus.
Don’t live in halls? No worries - the Global Lounges at City and Clifton are also collecting non-perishable foods.
Not only will your donations support those in need across Nottinghamshire but you will help us to prevent items being unnecessarily sent to landfill.
As part of the British Heart Foundation Pack for Good Scheme, Nottingham-wide students donated over 6,230 bags of unwanted items in 2022 saving almost 50 tonnes of waste. Let’s make that more this year – don’t dump it, donate it.
Donation bins are in place from now until the end of July.
Please email sustainability@ntu.ac.uk for any further information.
*Please only donate in-date and unopened tins and dry foods.
