Get ready for ten days of events, experiences and unforgettable moments as the official Trent Freshers returns from Friday 11th to Sunday 20th September 2026.
With more than 30 events taking place across Nottingham’s biggest venues – including our very own Students’ Union venue, The Level – you can build a Freshers experience that works for you.
Whether you want huge club nights, live entertainment, relaxed socials or something completely different, there’s plenty to choose from.
What’s happening during Trent Freshers?
This year’s line-up brings back some of the biggest Trent favourites, alongside a packed programme of social events, activities and new experiences.
Big nights and Trent favourites
Take on the classic Trent Army night, experience a full 360-degree party at Freshers 360, or head to District at the heart of your Students’ Union.
You can also expect Bingo Bedlam, Quids In, Trent’s very own festival and the Freshers Ball – plus plenty more still to discover.
Something different
Drinking and clubbing not really your thing? You’ll still find plenty happening throughout Freshers.
Meet new people at relaxed socials and speed-friending, discover a secret cinema experience, take on games nights or head out for activities at venues including Penny Lane and Roxy Ball Room.
There really is something for everyone, whether you’re arriving at NTU for the first time or returning for another year.
Freshers Passes are on sale now
Once you’ve explored the line-up, the next step is securing your place.
An official Trent Freshers Pass gives you the flexibility to choose from the full programme of official events, so you can build a Freshers week around the things you actually want to do.
Pass holders will get first choice when individual event tickets are released, helping you secure places at the biggest and most popular events before general sale.

What happens if I don’t come to NTU?
We know plans can change while you’re waiting for results or confirming your university place.
If you buy a Freshers Pass but don’t end up studying at NTU, you can request a refund in line with the Freshers Pass refund terms.
