Who is AgSoc for?

Anyone with passion for our land! AgSoc is defined by its members, the experiences and opportunities we provide each year depend on what our members are wish to learn more about, that means if something matters to you, then it matters to us!

 

What do we offer?

We say it a lot because that’s our thing, we offer unique opportunities & experiences to our members. These can range from onsite facility tours, to guest lectures at Brack… there are even chances to demo test some of the latest technology & machinery available in the industry.

 

Why was AgSoc made?

Brackenhurst has been a steadfast home of agricultural learning since 1947. AgSoc was born out of a desire to maintain this, by providing students with access to experiences and learning opportunities that they may not otherwise reach.

It is important to us that students understand the vast size of Agriculture as an industry, and the overlap with other sectors. Simply take soil science as an example, we look at it in tandem with horticulture, geography, and conservation to name a few!
