This year, many NTU staff members were nominated by students for their hard work and dedication to their academic field and the students they teach. Our panel then finalised a shortlist and chose the winners.
To celebrate and recognise the nominees and winners, we came together for an awards ceremony held on Monday 25th April.
Congratulations to all the nominees and winners of the Outstanding Teaching Staff and Outstanding Support Staff awards.
We’d like to thank the students who submitted their nominations and NTU staff for their commitment to ensuring the best student experience.

Senior Chemistry & forensics lecturer Andy O’Hagan was awarded an Exceptional Dedication to Students award—the first of its kind—created to recognise his significant impact on the lives of many students, who continue to recognise his dedication by nominating him year after year.
A huge congratulations from us all, Andy. Thank you for all that you do for your students.
