Hello, Having studdied at Nottingham trent univeristy for 3 years I have seen growth and development within the university especially the sustainability goals. Travelling between campuses can be a challenging process but using the bus can not only make it an easy process but also improve sustainability when using public transport. Currently the return price (day ticket price) is £5.30 and for students who travel regularly this can become a big expense. I understand the univeristy offers a discounted rate for the year at £300 but its not enough for those students who are struggling. This will also benefit the university to reach their net zero goal as using the bus can help reduce CO2 emmissions by 42%! This is also a safety issue as with having transport availble for students decreases the amount of students bringing their car to university which in turn means less road users and less road accidents. Thank you for your time and if you have any further questions please feel free to contact me at N1013953@ntu.ac.uk, I am very passionate about this issue and would be happy to speak further.
