Swimming Pool

Whilst this is something that both students and NTU Sport would like to see, unfortunately there is insufficient resources for it to be a viable goal in the short term.
It would be great if for the next major sports constuction following the success of the tennis centre at Clifton, NTU could get its own swimming pool. It's a bit of a trek to get to the facilities at uni of and swimming is often seen as an easy to get into relaxing way of exercising after a long day of work. Plus it would create opportunities for life guard training and learn-to-swim programmes for those who are unable to currently.
