Greetings,
You are cordially welcome to the Africa Connect Society for NTU students!
Description
At Africa connect, students shall unite to showcase African culture, keep up to date with recent developments in Africa, share concerns if any pertaining to their university experience, and promote investment in Africa.
Aims
• To unite African students and showcase African culture.
• To keep up to date with general recent developments in Africa and debate key issues.
• To promote African culture, investment and tourism to all students (African and Non-African).
• Integration of African students into University life.
Strategy
The aims shall be achieved by doing our best to create opportunities throughout the academic year to motivate members to remain passionate about Africa and the different cultures therein so that the culture is freely expressed for members and non-members of the society to witness! We are open to suggestions from any member and/or interested students.
Events
A range of events including but not limited to discussions, guest appearances, fashion shows, dance, exhibitions, travel, African food and beverage tasting, and recognition of African nations just to mention a few will be held throughout the academic year. Interestingly, anybody can join this society; it is not restricted to African students.
Joining
Do not miss out on this fantastic opportunity to experience Africa. You can go ahead and secure your membership today by selecting the 'join this group' option. Annual membership fee is only £3.00. We look forward to hear from you.
